FinProjection (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a free, client-side financial planning tool. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our website and application at finprojection.com.

FinProjection operates entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following to our servers:

• Personal financial data (income, debts, expenses, assets)
• Names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information
• Account credentials or passwords

All financial data you enter is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.

3. Data Storage

Your financial data is saved in your browser's localStorage. This means:

• Data persists between sessions on the same browser and device
• Clearing your browser data will permanently delete your financial data
• Data is not synced across devices or browsers
• We have no ability to access, recover, or restore your data

4. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data to help us understand how the application is used and to improve user experience. Google Analytics may collect:

• Pages visited and time spent on the application
• Browser type, device type, and screen resolution
• Approximate geographic location (country/region level)
• Referral source (how you found our site)

This data is aggregated and anonymized. It does not include any financial data you enter into the application. You can opt out of Google Analytics by using a browser add-on.

5. Cookies

We do not use cookies for our own purposes. Google Analytics may set cookies to distinguish unique users and throttle request rates. These are third-party cookies governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We use the following third-party services:

• Netlify - application hosting

You can export your data at any time using the Data Management feature within the app. To delete all data, use the “Clear All Data” option in the app, or clear your browser's local storage for this site.

8. Children's Privacy

FinProjection is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the application constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
